Walked into a Kindergarten class a couple days ago during a torrential rainstorm. Saw this:
Love seeing the creation of worlds. Also saw some boys using wooden slats to play hockey. I guess that works ;-)
Today in another class (Gr. 4) during community circle I enjoyed our First Nations Support Worker Les George showing the kids traditional songs and drumming and explaining their role in Tsleil Wa-tuth community. Another great day at Sherwood.
Fun day is in full swing. The entire school community - staff, students, parents - pitched in to make it an amazing experience. There are stations all over the field and the grade 7's are running them. Cupcake walks, Three legged races, face painting, zip lines are a just a few of the offerings. And our theme this year is 'Western'. Great day and it's not raining!
